Crestron is the benchmark for large-scale, ultra-specification smart home and commercial automation. Custom AV is a certified Crestron integrator for Dubai and the UAE — we design, program and commission Crestron systems for the most demanding residential villas, royal residences and commercial developments in the region.

Where Control4 is the world’s best-selling residential automation platform, Crestron is the world’s most powerful. It’s the right choice when your project demands absolute flexibility, the highest throughput for AV distribution, bespoke interface design and a system with no ceiling on what it can integrate. Crestron has no out-of-the-box limitations — it does what you design it to do.

Crestron Home
Crestron’s residential automation platform — powerful, flexible and designed for high-specification villas. Handles AV distribution, lighting control (via integration with Lutron or KNX), climate, security, access and whole-home audio from a unified programming environment. Crestron Home runs on Crestron’s PYNG platform and offers the best bespoke touchscreen and keypad design in the residential market.

Crestron DM NVX (4K AV Distribution)
The NVX platform distributes 4K/60Hz HDR video over a standard IT network infrastructure — eliminating the need for dedicated HDMI cable runs between sources and displays. In a large villa with 15+ screens, this is transformative: one AV rack serves every display, and source changes happen in milliseconds. We have designed and installed NVX systems in multi-floor villas across the UAE.

Crestron DigitalMedia 8G
For projects where network-based distribution isn’t preferred, Crestron’s 8G matrix system delivers uncompressed 4K over dedicated cable infrastructure. The gold standard for reference-quality AV distribution in large-scale residential and hospitality projects.

Crestron Scheduling & Commercial
For conference rooms, boardrooms, meeting spaces and multi-use commercial venues, Crestron’s scheduling and room control systems are the industry default. We deploy Crestron in commercial environments across DIFC, Business Bay and Downtown Dubai.

Crestron is the right choice when your project has one or more of the following characteristics: you need to distribute 4K video to 10+ screens without dedicated HDMI runs; you need bespoke touchscreen interfaces designed to match your interior; you’re working on a commercial project where Crestron is the specification standard; you need a system that your facilities management team can support through Crestron’s global dealer network; or your architect or interior designer has specified Crestron explicitly.

Crestron requires more programming investment than Control4 — which is appropriate for the kind of projects where Crestron is the right answer. We allocate dedicated programming time to every Crestron project and don’t release a system until it passes our internal commissioning checklist.

Our Crestron portfolio in Dubai and the UAE includes large-scale villa installations on Palm Jumeirah and Emirates Hills, a royal residence project in Abu Dhabi, and multiple commercial AV system deployments in DIFC and Business Bay. We work directly with clients and with architects, interior designers and main contractors who specify Crestron on their projects.
