The Elysian cinema room looks simple on a floor plan. It isn’t. Get these wrong and you’ve spent a fortune on a room that sounds like a corridor.
- Long and narrowSpeaker placement and seating distance are planned for the room’s proportions, not a generic square box.
- Low ceilingScreen size, projector throw and Atmos height speakers are all set to work at around 2.65 m.
- Full-height glazingThe glass wall needs light control and acoustic treatment, or the room will never go properly dark or quiet.
- The doorWant the door to swing the other way? We can do that as part of the fit-out.
- Room for a barThe rear of the room can take a bar and high stools without compromising the seats that matter.

Star ceiling, step and cove lighting that dims for the film and comes up for the interval, linked into your villa’s existing KNX system.

Do you handle the fit-out as well as the AV?
Yes. Acoustic design, construction, carpet, ceiling and lighting are all in the same proposal, so there’s one team accountable for how the room sounds and looks.
Can I keep a bar at the back of the room?
Yes. We plan the bar and stools into the layout so they don’t compromise the main seats or the sound.
Will it work with the rest of my villa?
Yes. We link the cinema lighting into your existing KNX system, and Control4 ties it together with the screen, sound and blinds.
