Lutron is the world’s leading manufacturer of architectural lighting control systems. Custom AV is an authorised Lutron dealer and certified programmer for Dubai and the UAE — we design, supply, program and commission Lutron systems for residential villas, penthouse apartments and commercial spaces across the emirate.

Lutron’s product range spans from the Caséta wireless dimmer (ideal for retrofit projects) through to the Radio RA3 and HomeWorks QSX platforms — professional-grade systems designed for architecturally significant properties where aesthetic precision and reliability are non-negotiable.

Lutron HomeWorks QSX
The flagship Lutron residential platform. Designed for large villas and high-specification apartments where every light, shade and scene is precisely controlled. Supports thousands of devices, integrates natively with Control4, Crestron and KNX, and offers the most sophisticated scene and scheduling engine in the residential market. This is what we install on Palm Jumeirah, Emirates Hills and Jumeirah Bay Island.

Lutron Radio RA3
The mid-tier Lutron platform — capable, reliable and aesthetically refined. Ideal for villas where the full scope of HomeWorks QSX isn’t required. Still wireless, still programmable, still Lutron build quality. Popular on Dubai Hills Estate and Sobha Hartland projects.

Lutron Caséta Wireless
Lutron’s retrofit-friendly platform. No rewiring. Works with existing switches. Ideal when you’re moving into a completed villa and want Lutron’s dimming quality and scene control without a full fit-out. Can be integrated with a broader smart home system later.

Lutron Sivoia QS Shading
Motorised window shades and blinds controlled through the same Lutron app. Fabric selection, blackout options and acoustic attenuation all available. Coordinates with lighting scenes — morning scenes raise the shades and dim the ceiling lights simultaneously.

Lutron dimmers are specced by architects and interior designers because they don’t flicker, don’t hum and work with a wider range of lamp types than most competitors. In a Dubai villa with 400+ lighting circuits, these properties matter — the difference between a Lutron installation and a lower-cost alternative is audible and visible in everyday use.

Lutron also offers the best-in-class shade motor: the Sivoia QS. Quiet, precise, reliable and available in a range of fabric weights and opacity levels. Combined with Lutron’s lighting control, it delivers the kind of scene coordination that architectural magazines photograph.

We install and program Lutron systems ourselves — we don’t sub-contract Lutron programming. Our engineers hold Lutron Bronze and Silver programming certifications and we have a direct relationship with Lutron’s Middle East team.

Lutron integrates natively with every major smart home platform we work with: Control4, Crestron and KNX. This means your lighting scenes are triggered by your single control interface — one app, one touchscreen, one remote, or voice via Alexa and Google Home.

In a typical villa installation, Lutron handles the lighting and shading, Control4 or Crestron handles the wider home automation (AV, climate, security, access), and the two talk to each other seamlessly. The client sees one unified interface.

We have completed Lutron lighting control installations across Dubai’s premium residential communities including Palm Jumeirah, Emirates Hills, Dubai Hills Estate, Jumeirah Bay Island, Al Barari, Sobha Hartland, Mohammed Bin Rashid City and Jumeirah Golf Estates. We also work on commercial projects across Business Bay, DIFC and Downtown Dubai.
